On Thursday 14th December we were delighted to return to St Andrew's Church, Wanborough for our Christmas Service.
The combined effects of Covid restrictions and roof repairs at the church, meant that this was our first opportunity since December 2019.
It was lovely to see so many friends and family filling the church.
The Service was led by Rev. Chris Hunter, who's address put the Christmas celebration in the context of the whole Christian faith.
Prayers were led by Year 5 pupils and readings by Year 6, which you can see in the video here.
There were also some impressive and skillfully played seasonal music played by a number of pupils on the church organ, which you hear below.
The whole school sang some uplifting and superbly performed songs, plus we enjoyed Reception and Year 1's "Funky Camels" one last time.
We were even treated to a fly past by one of the church's resident bats during the service!
Thanks to Miss Watts for planning the service, Mrs Wright for the rehearsal of the songs and Mr Woodman for the sound.
