On Thursday 7th March we celebrated the importance and fun of books of all kinds on World Book Day.
This year's book in the spotlight was "The Day The Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt, illustrated by Oliver Jeffers.
The staff presented the story, playing the part of the different coloured crayons.
The children dressed in an amazing array of costumes, representing the characters from their favourite books.
A school governor,Sara Stafford, who is our English link governor, dressed up as aviator Amelia Earhart and presented prizes to children judged to have outstanding costumes.
