Tuesday 29th November 2022 saw the return of the Wanborough legend which is Worldbeat!

This was our first event since 2019, so a completely new experience for many.

Worldbeat is our annual celebration of the languages of the World in song.

We started by singing the "Hello to all the Children of the World" song, then it was time for the performances to begin. Every class really put their all into it, as you can see below.

Each class performed under the careful scrutiny of our judging team. Then, while the judges were considering their points, we watched some more videos, about languages, an action song in Spanish (Juan Pequeño Baila) and about going to school in Africa.

After a break, some of the teachers enacted "Trois Petits Cochons" with Lady Gaga style music, then it was time for the points.

In a close race, the final verdict was that the winners were Elm Class representing Colombia!
