On Thursday 25th January, Year 6 visited the Army Flying Museum in Middle Wallop, Hampshire to mark the end of our Britain at War topic.
First, we had a tour where we learnt about the history of aviation in the army and then we took part in a variety of workshops.
We visited a 1940s house and learnt about homelife during WW2, we took part in a propaganda poster trail and finally we had the opportunity to handle and dress up in clothes/uniforms from WW2.
There was a particularly special moment for one of our pupils, who found their great-grandad's medals on display at the museum.
